What is a
Health Coach?

In Europe, health coaching is still a relatively new profession. In the US, however, health coaches already are an integral part in the field of health and wellness. They fill a gap that has so far not been covered in our conventional health care systems. It is a profession that is most certainly not designed to replace conventional healthcare, but rather to increase its effectiveness by giving each and every one the possibility to easily contribute to their own health and well-being.

 

How do health coaches work?

Health coaches are supportive mentors who help their clients make healthy and sustainable lifestyle choices. Whether the goal is to lose weight, improve overall well-being, find effective methods to reduce stress or simply to sleep better at night, health coaches help you to find individual strategies and solutions to make lasting changes.

 

Is health coaching for me?

Do you want to feel your best through simple yet very effective lifestyle changes? Do you need answers to specific questions around nutrition? And are you also looking for someone who holds you accountable for achieving your unique goals and motivates you along the way? Then a health coach might just be the solution you’ve been looking for.  

The philosophy upon which my entire education as a health coach is based is called bio-individuality. Bio-individuality means that we’re all different and have very unique dietary, lifestyle, emotional, and physical needs. What works for me might not work for you. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. And that’s our key to success, we help you to find your own and very unique way to become the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.

 

If you chose to work with me, this is what you can expect 

  • A safe space to address all kind of questions, topics and emotions. Nothing you say, feel or do will ever be judged in any way.

  • I will support you in every way humanly possible to learn how to fall in love with yourself and your body. A body you hate can never be fully vibrant.

  • Together we will find the perfect way to nourish your body and soul. There will be no strict or specific diets and certainly no calorie counting. A meal should be feel fulfilling on many different levels in order to make you feel your best.

  • There’s more to our health than what’s on our plate. Relationships, career, exercise, mindfulness, spirituality and many more are equally important to your health as what you eat. Together we will find strategies that help you reach your full potential in the areas that might deserve a little more attention.

  • I will help you rediscover the forgotten art of intuitive eating. Our bodies are truly magnificent. They know exactly what they need. The only thing is, we have forgotten how to listen to them.  

Who I want to be for you

My personal goal is to be the person for you that I so desperately wished for when my physical and emotional health started to decline. Someone who could help me navigate the confusing, overwhelming world of nutrition and wellness. I truly believe that lifestyle changes everything. I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it over and over again and I’d be honored to be part of your own and very unique journey back to well-being.
